If the HD and Slope are entered, the SD is calculated. A Draw Feature is available for the opposite page…so, you can record all notes without carrying around a notebook!! These notes can be printed through CruiseMatePC and submitted to your client along with a printout or pdf copy of your Cruise Tally Sheets.
  
  
• Validation of all Cruise data (Automatic or Manual). Cruise data is important and expensive! The comprehensive data validation lowers the risk of leaving the plot with incomplete or inconsistent data. The following fields or cruising methods can be selected for validation: Main card (heights, diameters, species, tree class, path indicators, blowdown, insect, fire), General Information (plot location, RT data, Signature, plot location), Maturity pop up warnings, Quality Remarks, Coastal tree descriptions, Alpha Grades, User/Sort grades, lengths, Net Factors, BigBaf Cruises, Sample/Site trees, Fixed Radius Cruises, Stump Cruises.

• Hide the card header…and… View up to nine trees at a time
• Species scroll-downs have all acceptable codes for all trees in BC interior and coastal FIZ groups
  
  
• Programming offers Scroll-downs that present you with all the available codes for each selected species (Tree Class, Pathological Indicator, Root Rot, Insect, Fire, and Blowdown code)
  
  
• Corrects all counted ages by species and assigns correct Maturity Class and Risk Group
  
  
• Alerts you to any Maturity Class conflicts between assigned Tree Class and Age in Tens
  
  
• Borderline Trees are calculated to the Front or to the Center of tree, and are automatically assigned IN or OUT status (OUT trees are automatically crossed-out). 
  
  
• Walk Through Tree Screen speeds up the documentation process for recording Walkthrough tree information. A Walk-through tree is automatically assigned the next available tree number and “mirrored”. All of the information is printed on the CruiseMate plot card and exported to .ccp, .cct, .cmf and .dat formats.
  
  
• Manual Height Calculator: If you forgot your Vertex or want to check out your hypsometer. Enter: Top, bottom and SD…height is calculated. If the tree is leaning or hung up – give CruiseMate the "height" and "offset" and it will give you the "length"
  
  
• The “Tree Counter” module calculates all of your plots (except “type99”) and displays the total plots, total trees, and average trees/plot.
  
  
• Built-in “Scientific Calculator” allows you to make additional calculations without leaving CruiseMate.
